AI disclosure
You are talking with an AI.
Dear DaVinci is an interactive AI experience. You should know exactly how it works before you tell it anything.

What you're interacting with
When you write or speak to DaVinci, an AI system reads what you said, organizes it, and writes back. No human is standing behind it answering for you.
The optional welcome recording and printable guide material are different: those were created by people in advance.
AI can be wrong
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or simply mistaken. It can misunderstand what you meant, or miss something that matters.
Treat what DaVinci says as organizational help — a way to see your situation clearly and decide what to do first — not as a verified answer.
Three different kinds of information
Inside your HQ you will see things you told us, things you told us a professional said, and things DaVinci worked out on its own. They are not the same, and DaVinci can be wrong about the last one.
Anything important — medications, discharge instructions, diagnoses, benefits, legal or financial questions — should be confirmed with the qualified professional involved in your situation. Please don't rely on DaVinci's reading of it.
What DaVinci is not
DaVinci is not a doctor, nurse, therapist, lawyer, financial adviser, or any other licensed professional, and it does not replace one. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, interpret medications, or make clinical decisions about you or the person you care for.
It is not an emergency service and it is not monitored around the clock. If this is an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Safety prompts are a backstop, not a guarantee
DaVinci will sometimes stop and tell you to call emergency services or a clinician. That behavior is a safety net, not a detector. It cannot be relied on to notice every emergency, every dangerous condition, every medication error, or every important issue.
The absence of a warning is never a sign that something is safe.
Nobody is reading over your shoulder
Dear DaVinci staff do not routinely review your conversations. There is no clinician or other professional checking DaVinci's replies before you see them. Your information is processed by third-party AI infrastructure used to provide the service, subject to those providers' applicable data-handling terms.
Memory and personalization
DaVinci uses what you tell it to understand your situation, keep track of the moving parts, remember relevant details, and make later replies more useful to you. How that is stored, and how to delete it, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Dictation
“Say it” uses your browser's own speech recognition. We don't record or store audio.
Depending on your device, your browser vendor may send that audio to their servers to turn it into text, under their privacy terms. Only the text comes to us — and only if you save it.
You can always type instead. Nothing requires a microphone.
What we don't claim
We don't claim guaranteed accuracy, guaranteed safety, clinical outcomes, medical device status, professional licensure, or HIPAA compliance.
Decisions remain yours.
